Dubai

Some of the most beautiful architectural achievements in Dubai are Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab

Must see…

You can see everything in Dubai, first impression is like whole city is five stars hotel. Aquarium at the Dubai mall, beautiful fountain that dances to some Arab music, gold souk, place where you can ski… The most beautiful buildings, food from various countries, learn about their culture and party like you are in Europe or the USA. No matter where you’re from, we’re all expats here so you feel accepted.

There is 14 kilometers long running track along Jumeirah Beach and 85 kilometers long Al Qudra cycling track. It’s totally normal to hang out in the best hotels or beach clubs.

Usually we took our friends to see Aquarium and fountain first, and to try some cheese cake at Cheese Cake Factory in Dubai mall. Really nice view is from the top of Burj Khalifa. We often visit souk Madinat, bazaar at Middle Eastern style, and have some coffee at Costa Coffee.

Gold Souk and Spice Souk are must see if you want to feel the spirit of this country.

Miracle garden is very beautiful and everything is made of flowers. Choose a day which is not too hot and take your time. Near is Butterfly garden and I’ve never seen that wonderful butterflies in my life. They want to stand on your head or hand. We had really lovely time there.

From Marina mall you have nice view, you could eat on the terrace or go for a walk around marina. There are many restaurants with great view in this neighborhood. Pier 7 is one of them. Usually it’s not that crowded, but in winter it is. Dubai is more fun than Abu Dhabi.

If you are Serbian, you can eat our food at Rolling Pin Restaurant. Balkan shop is name of the store near Rolling Pin Restaurant, at Jumeirah Lake Towers where you could find Serbian products, like plazma. If you want some Italian you can find Jamie’s in Dubai or just visit Hard Rock Cafe for brownie .

If you go to the Kite beach, try Wanna banana.

Rent a car at the airport or take a taxi (pink is only for ladies). Hotels are very good. We are usually staying at Hilton, but most of them are really nice.

Kissing and hugging in public is forbidden. There is no alcohol in regular stores, only in restaurants and clubs. If you want to buy you should go to liquor store, but they can ask you if you have liquor license.

Week starts on Sundays. People here don’t need to lock their doors, it’s very safe.
